While last time your weapon of choice was a gun when trying to kill the deer hunter, you now have a much more primitive, yet still very much lethal club. When you click the left mouse button to make the hunter fall from his tower, you should be ready to swing almost immediately after he falls out. Swinging too late will mean that you will forego any and all points and the hunter will die, but not at your hands.
Timing is key with this game, so make sure you swing only a second after he falls out of his tower. When you make him go flying through the air, there are various land mines distributed in a line throughout the various point markers which go up by 100 each time. The more the body or head of the hunter hits the landmines, the farther he will go and the more points you will earn.
It isn't so much how hard you hit the hunter as it is when you hit him, so make sure it is a good clean hit, because otherwise you probably will not get that many points out of the kill. Sometimes you will only get a few hundred from your hit, and other times you will get almost 1,000 or more. It just depends on when you hit the hunter and how many times he hits the land mines. Keep trying to hit a new high score, because you never know when you could break 1,000.
